Vaccine Industrial Holding LLC is a Saudi Arabia company based in Riyadh. VIC was founded in January 2022 by Dr. Khaled Almosa, a Healthcare management consultant. Dr. Almosa is the Founder, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Saudi Biotechnology manufacturing company for Insulin and Biologics (2010-2020). He is a member of Supreme Committee for Research, Development and Innovation at the Council of Economic & Development Affairs, Council of Ministers, Saudi Arabia.

VIC is the first and only company aiming to set up state of art vaccines biomanufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia.

The project will be in 3 phases over 7 years.

Vaccine Company for Research, Development and Innovation (VCRDI) is a branch of VIC holding company which aims to establish and operate a national research laboratory for the development of vaccines biopharmaceuticals, and essentials medicines, hosted by the King Abdulaziz City of sciences and Technology (KACST). The possibility of benefiting from the KACST facilities and it’s infrastructure in the field of the health sector, investing in the national expertise, supporting scientific pharmaceutical research and its output into industrial outputs of feasibility and added economic value.

Technology transfer and localization of biopharmaceutical industry, which contributes to enhancing biopharmaceutical security in Saudi Arabia. Providing training and development opportunities, scientific research, cooperation in scientific and research activities, and community service.
